The hydrophilic polyurethane film in the dressing has REACTIC properties that enable excess moisture to vapourise. The bacterial barrier protects the site against external contamination. The Smith & Nephew Opsite Post-op Composite Dressing is a waterproof dressing & patients can bathe without removing the dressing. The transparent film allows monitoring of fluid levels without removing dressing.
